Jan. 1-11_Day 1 thru Day 11...I am so behind

Well at least I had the intention of doing this sooner. But better late than never. Hopefully now that I am caught up I will actually post these on a daily basis....We will just have to see.

Day 1:

The New Year has started off great! Got to spend New Years with my Best friend Dani Owens. I am so glad she was back in town. Many drinks, and many jello shots=Good times had by all! I love my friends and had a great time catching up with the ones I haven't seen in a while. Hopefully I won't go so long in between seeing them again. Even Dani, who lives in NC. Already thinking about a trip to see her in maybe March. But for now I am back to missing her like crazy.

Day 2:

Got to spend a lot of time with the twins this holiday since I was off of work. And this was one of the funniest things. Lorelai had just got done eating and Christy took the bottle out of her mouth and she just laid like this for like a half an hour. She looked like she was in a food coma. So freaking cute. I really love them. Makes me kind of feel like I want kids. Need a man first though...should probably work on that.

Day 3:
Went with Sarah up to Dayton today to look a puppy she was thinking about adopting. His name was Leif. He is a peekadoodle Peikanese/Poodle mix. It took her about 2 Minutes to say yes I want him and I am changing his name to Charlie! ha ha he is super cute and stayed pretty calm on the drive home. Best part is...I am not allergic to him! Got to love that!

Day 4:

So I know this is an old picture, but Its all I have to show for what happened. My 8 month old car's transmission died last night. I am so beyond sad. I have full warrenty for it so everything from the tow to the replacement is covered, but still I am without my own transportation again and it makes me want to cry. I have the worst luck with cars. They said the transmission is on backorder so I probably wont get it back for at least a week! Grrr

Day 5:

So this is what my kitchen corner has looked like for far too long. I have been accumulating craft supplies slowly for a while and they get piled there. I really need to make my brother Eric switch me bedrooms. He doesn't even really live here anymore because he is always staying at Cheryl's house. I need the bigger room so I finally will have the space to organize all my stuff and have it all ready to use. *Fingers Crossed* that I can talk him into it. Otherwise I might just have to do it with out his permission ha ha
Day 6:

Went to Michael Craft store and Joanne Fabric today. This is what I came home with. Its not really a LOT, but its what I needed to start a few projects. I bought some fiberfill to make pillows and a Stencil book that has reusable stencils. Can not wait to try them out. I also bought a black tote bag on impulse. I want to decorate it for myself. I am sure you will see a picture of that soon. Can't wait to get started on these new projects!

Day 7:
So I didn't waste much time getting started. I cut up an old hoodie sweater that I just couldn't bare to get rid of even though there were holes in the sleeves and I haven't worn it in forever. Also used just a plain black shirt for the back of the pillows. The Front of the sweater had the 2 Macmanus brothers from The Boondock Saints. And the back was the prayer from that movie. I made them into 2 pillows so I could lay them side by side. If you haven't seen this movie. I highly recommend it. It is my favorite movie. Got the tattoos to prove it. Oh and side note...they are super soft!

Day 8:

Sarah brought Charlie over for a visit. She ended up giving him a bath in the sink. he looks like a drowned cat ha ha. Please excuse the mess. We are getting the new dishwasher installed in a few days. But isn't he soooo cute?

Day 9:

Went over Cary's house and spent the night watching movies. This is what I woke up to. Jules loves when I come over to visit. I am pretty much like a second mom to her because I lived with her the first few years of her life and she got really attached. I love her so much! She is growing into a pretty little girl.

Day 10:

So I spent the day trying this design out of my t-shirt book. Its a hooded blanket. I planned on making 2 for the twins. And right as I am finishing this first one up Christy and Craig show up with all the kids. It was perfect. So I got to check how it looked on the girls. So freaking adorable! I am going to adjust the hood so its not so pointed though and make the second one before I give it to them. I think the other one I am going to do purple on the inside and pink on the outside. Christy can't complain that they match. Especially since I made them!
Day 11:
Julianna came over to visit tonight while her parents were out running around. So we finally were able to make her a t-shirt. I used 2 of my new stencils from the book and used the splatter brushes. I think it turned out pretty. I am thinking I want to try the spray paint that Michaels has. Last time I tried that method it was from a cheap kit from Walmart and it sucked. So I might just buy a couple colors and try it out...
