Jan. 31-Day 31

Cut up some shirts. I am trying a design out of my t-shirt book. It is going to be a doggie bed for my sister Sarah's dog Charlie. I love how these 2 shades look together. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Jan. 30-Day 30

Bought some more onesies in preparation for our Tie Dye night later this week. I can not wait! It has been a really long time since we have had an AKF Kraft night, especially one where Geneva got to come! I bought some long sleeve 3 month size ones for the twins to wear now since its cold. I also got the bigger sizes to go ahead and make some for when they grow out of those. They are going to have and endless supply of tie dye! ha ha

Jan. 24-29-Day 24-29

Ok so this is the only picture I am posting for these 6 days. I played this the other day at my sisters and it brought back the big game playing side of me. I wanted to maybe go rent it so me and Ryan went to Family Video at 10pm. But they were all sold out! So I thought about it and decided I should just go buy it ha ha. So we left from there and went straight to Meijers and bought it. I talked Ryan into throwing down half the price with me so I didn't have to pay all $50 by myself. So we started playing when we got home and only stopped because I had to work in the morning. So as soon as I walked in the door after work on Monday we started playing again. And we continued with that the rest of the week on stopping to eat and sleep. So needless to say, I didn't take any pictures in this time...I guess you can say we were a little obsessed ha ha

Jan. 23-Day 23

Had to post this because Robbie never seems to be home when I go to see the twins. He is getting so big. I swear parents are gonna have to lock up their daughters when he is around. He is going to be a heartbreaker. Just look at how cute he is!

Jan. 22-Day 22

Ok so I went to this doctors office today and decided to try some pills to help me loose some weight. I am kind of iffy on the whole idea but I have heard nothing but good things from the people who have used it. It is an appetite suppressant. The whole idea is to make you not feel hungry all the time so you are only eating when you need to. So wish me luck...I have a LOT to lose!

Jan. 21-Day 21

God I love babies! I am always trying to get the twins on camera when they are smiling or laughing, and I caught Lorelai this time. I laid her down to change her diaper and she thought it was the funniest thing. She was laughing for a good 5 minutes before I finally did change the diaper ha ha. Everytime I would say something to her she would start cracking up and I could bear to interruped her good time. I swear she is the cutest thing sometimes! Until I am talking about Jocelyn ha ha because she has the best facial expressions and its hard to choose which one is cuter...

Jan. 20-Day 20

Ok so I spent most of the night up in my room watching T.V. and making this! My very first fleece knot blanket. I love it! it is really big too. I think I used 2-1/2 yards of each fabric. I ended up being almost big enough to cover my twin bed like a comforter. I really like how it kind of looks like it is glowing in this picture....

Jan. 19-Day 19

Jan. 18-Day 18

Went over and watched Christy's kids tonight while they showed the old Mariposa house to someone who wants to rent it. So happy they found someone. My cousins are not really paying their rent on time and it is killing Christy and Craig. But anyways. The twins are getting so big! after I took this picture they both slept on me for about 3 hours straight. It was so cute.

Jan. 17-Day 17

Went to IKEA with Geneva and Genesis today. I wish I had the money to buy more stuff. That place is so awesome. But I left with what I went for. A desk for my craft stuff. Put it together all by myself too! ha ha can't wait to get it all organized.

Jan. 16- Day 16

Somy brother made me stay up to almost 4 in the morning making him this shirt because he wanted to wear it for his soccer game the next day. It is his new goalie shirt ha ha. It says FO' SHIZZLE MY NIZZLE on the front. Then it says R-HIZZLE with the number 27 on the back. I also wrote FOSC on both the sleeves. Turned out pretty good.

Jan. 15-Day 15

Went shopping with Christy for some things for her and then we went to Joanne Fabrics. She was wanting to make fleece tie blankets for the kids, but it is kind of expensive. But I didn't let that stop me. I bought me some material to make me one. I am so excited about it. I love the fabric. I will post the pictures when its done...

Jan. 12-14_Days 12-14

So I will evetually get this down as a ritual...I hope

Day 12:

So I got the itch to paint some more. I finally finished my first painting of my Boondock Saints project. This is the first of 3 paintings I am doing. That is Murphy. I still have to paint Conner and decide what exactly I am going to paint for what will be in between the 2. It will eventually look like an Irish flag behind them. Green, White, then Orange. I am really happy how this turned out so I am motivated to finish it now.

Day 13:

Got my haircut today! Thanks so so Much to Miss Erica Hodges, I love it! Now I just need to dye it....probably going back to my red now that I don't have to worry about clashing with the red bridesmaid dresses for Dani's wedding ha ha

Day 14:

Had a craft night with Stacy Bond, who I have not seen in almost a month! I got to play with her cricut machine to make the stencils I used for this shirt. Now I wish I had an extra 200 bucks lying around to Buy me one of those cricuts! They are so freaking cool. Anyways, this is a shirt I made for her puppy Lucy. It is actually a 0-3 months onesie that I cut the bottom off of and hemmed. It fits her like any real dog clothes would and its so cute. i love how this turned out.

Jan. 1-11_Day 1 thru Day 11...I am so behind

Well at least I had the intention of doing this sooner. But better late than never. Hopefully now that I am caught up I will actually post these on a daily basis....We will just have to see.

Day 1:

The New Year has started off great! Got to spend New Years with my Best friend Dani Owens. I am so glad she was back in town. Many drinks, and many jello shots=Good times had by all! I love my friends and had a great time catching up with the ones I haven't seen in a while. Hopefully I won't go so long in between seeing them again. Even Dani, who lives in NC. Already thinking about a trip to see her in maybe March. But for now I am back to missing her like crazy.

Day 2:

Got to spend a lot of time with the twins this holiday since I was off of work. And this was one of the funniest things. Lorelai had just got done eating and Christy took the bottle out of her mouth and she just laid like this for like a half an hour. She looked like she was in a food coma. So freaking cute. I really love them. Makes me kind of feel like I want kids. Need a man first though...should probably work on that.

Day 3:
Went with Sarah up to Dayton today to look a puppy she was thinking about adopting. His name was Leif. He is a peekadoodle Peikanese/Poodle mix. It took her about 2 Minutes to say yes I want him and I am changing his name to Charlie! ha ha he is super cute and stayed pretty calm on the drive home. Best part is...I am not allergic to him! Got to love that!

Day 4:

So I know this is an old picture, but Its all I have to show for what happened. My 8 month old car's transmission died last night. I am so beyond sad. I have full warrenty for it so everything from the tow to the replacement is covered, but still I am without my own transportation again and it makes me want to cry. I have the worst luck with cars. They said the transmission is on backorder so I probably wont get it back for at least a week! Grrr

Day 5:

So this is what my kitchen corner has looked like for far too long. I have been accumulating craft supplies slowly for a while and they get piled there. I really need to make my brother Eric switch me bedrooms. He doesn't even really live here anymore because he is always staying at Cheryl's house. I need the bigger room so I finally will have the space to organize all my stuff and have it all ready to use. *Fingers Crossed* that I can talk him into it. Otherwise I might just have to do it with out his permission ha ha
Day 6:

Went to Michael Craft store and Joanne Fabric today. This is what I came home with. Its not really a LOT, but its what I needed to start a few projects. I bought some fiberfill to make pillows and a Stencil book that has reusable stencils. Can not wait to try them out. I also bought a black tote bag on impulse. I want to decorate it for myself. I am sure you will see a picture of that soon. Can't wait to get started on these new projects!

Day 7:
So I didn't waste much time getting started. I cut up an old hoodie sweater that I just couldn't bare to get rid of even though there were holes in the sleeves and I haven't worn it in forever. Also used just a plain black shirt for the back of the pillows. The Front of the sweater had the 2 Macmanus brothers from The Boondock Saints. And the back was the prayer from that movie. I made them into 2 pillows so I could lay them side by side. If you haven't seen this movie. I highly recommend it. It is my favorite movie. Got the tattoos to prove it. Oh and side note...they are super soft!

Day 8:

Sarah brought Charlie over for a visit. She ended up giving him a bath in the sink. he looks like a drowned cat ha ha. Please excuse the mess. We are getting the new dishwasher installed in a few days. But isn't he soooo cute?

Day 9:

Went over Cary's house and spent the night watching movies. This is what I woke up to. Jules loves when I come over to visit. I am pretty much like a second mom to her because I lived with her the first few years of her life and she got really attached. I love her so much! She is growing into a pretty little girl.

Day 10:

So I spent the day trying this design out of my t-shirt book. Its a hooded blanket. I planned on making 2 for the twins. And right as I am finishing this first one up Christy and Craig show up with all the kids. It was perfect. So I got to check how it looked on the girls. So freaking adorable! I am going to adjust the hood so its not so pointed though and make the second one before I give it to them. I think the other one I am going to do purple on the inside and pink on the outside. Christy can't complain that they match. Especially since I made them!
Day 11:
Julianna came over to visit tonight while her parents were out running around. So we finally were able to make her a t-shirt. I used 2 of my new stencils from the book and used the splatter brushes. I think it turned out pretty. I am thinking I want to try the spray paint that Michaels has. Last time I tried that method it was from a cheap kit from Walmart and it sucked. So I might just buy a couple colors and try it out...

Project 365

So I am jealous of Geneva's new blog so I am going to do it too! But since I am already 5 days behind, I am going to post a weeks worth of pictures on Thursday. I already have pictures that I have taken this week that I can put up. Then after that I will make sure to take pictures specifically for this blog so that it is a little more...artsy? I guess thats the word I want ha ha. I want take interesting photos for this so we will see how it goes.
